Chicken Burgers with Guacamole
You want to eat a nice juicy burger but are on a strict diet. Then this is the perfect Burger for you. It’s got everything you need in a healthy meal.
Ingredients for 4 burgers
1 pound ground chicken
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons seasoned dry breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
4 sandwich buns
Ingredients for Guacamole
1/4 cup of chopped onion
garlic as much as you wish
1/3 cup of chopped tomatoes
Firstly you will need to mix the ground chicken with the fresh cilantro, the breadcrumbs,salt and pepper. If you can’t find ground chicken in your local store, you can just buy chicken breasts and chop them up with a knife. You then form 4 patties that are slightly bigger than the buns. Chop all the tomatoes. Then mash the avocados with the onions, garlic and the tomatoes. While you grill the patties you can put the buns in another pan with some butter to make them crispy. Sprinkle the Cheddar on one side of the patty and let it melt. Now we go on to the building of the burger. Put the patty on the bottom half. Top it with guacamole and the tomatoes.
And voila there you have a delicious healthy burger.
